These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the services provided by SafeHaven Staffing Limited (“SafeHaven,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a duly registered recruitment and staffing company operating under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
By accessing our website or using our services—whether as a client, applicant, or partner—you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must refrain from using our services.
1. Scope of Services
SafeHaven Staffing Limited provides:
- Recruitment and deployment of domestic and facility staff (e.g., nannies, house helps, cleaners, gatemen, cooks)
- Sourcing, screening, and matching job seekers to clients’ requirements
- Student recruitment and educational placement assistance for institutions abroad
- Ancillary support services including training, background checks, and consultation
2. Eligibility
To use our services:
- Clients must be 18 years of age or older and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
- Job seekers and students must provide accurate and truthful information for proper placement.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to any person or organisation at our discretion.
3. Client Obligations
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate details of staffing or student recruitment needs.
- Treat deployed staff fairly and with dignity.
Pay agreed service fees promptly and in accordance with invoice terms. - Not engage SafeHaven-placed workers outside the agreed terms without written consent.
4. Applicant & Student Obligations
Applicants and students agree to:
Submit truthful and complete personal and professional information.
Refrain from falsifying documents, experience, or academic records.
Cooperate during vetting and deployment processes.
Notify SafeHaven of any change in availability or conduct that may affect placement.
5. Service Fees and Payments
- Clients shall be invoiced for recruitment or placement services prior to deployment.
- Fees are non-refundable once a candidate or student placement has commenced, unless otherwise stated in a separate written agreement.
- International student application processing fees are payable in advance and subject to third-party timelines and requirements.
6. Background Checks
SafeHaven may conduct background checks, reference verification, and documentation vetting on applicants or candidates. However, we do not guarantee the continuous suitability, conduct, or performance of any deployed staff or student.
7. Limitation of Liability
SafeHaven shall not be liable for:
- Losses, damages, or injuries arising from the conduct, negligence, or omissions of recruited staff after deployment.
- Visa denials, admission rejections, or institutional delays in relation to international student recruitment.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use our services.
8. Indemnity
By using our services, clients and applicants agree to indemnify and hold SafeHaven, its directors, staff, and affiliates harmless from all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of any breach of these Terms or unlawful use of our services.
9. Confidentiality
All personal data and sensitive information collected during the service process shall be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Parties are required to maintain confidentiality of proprietary and personal information exchanged during engagement.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including branding, logos, written materials, and system interfaces, are the intellectual property of SafeHaven Staffing Limited and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate service:
- If a client or applicant violates these Terms
- If false or fraudulent information is provided
- If actions that compromise the safety, dignity, or legality of our operations occur.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction within Nigeria.
13. Amendments
We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any such amendments.
